If programming of the radio took
successfully, the camera (or blue screen)
will display on screen while in reverse.
Below is a chart referencing LED flashes, which
can be found on the side of the module.
This section is for 8.4” radio models
only. See pervious section for 5”
radios.
Leave ignition off until installation
is complete.
1.
After removing the radio connect the female
side of the Plug and Play T-harness to the
factory 44-pin harness that was unplugged
from the radio.
2.
Run the camera power and video RCA up to
the radio opening.
3.
Connect the video RCA from the camera to
the Yellow female RCA on the T-harness.
4.
Connect the power for the camera to the
white/red wire marked ACC OUT from the
T-harness.
5.
Ground the camera to a good solid metal
ground.
6.
Connect the 18-pin connector on the T-
harness to the 9002-2738 module.
7.
Connect the male connector of the T-
harness to the back of the radio. Connect all
other harness that where unplugged from
the radio.
8.
Mount module securely in dash with zip ties
or Velcro. Reinstall radio into opening. Take
care not to pinch any harness when putting
radio back in.
9.
Turn the key to the ACC position (not the
ON, don’t start the vehicle).
10.
Temporarily connect input 3 (pink wire) to
+12 volts.
11.
Turn the key to the ON position. The radio
will reboot within 20 seconds.
