3 CLEANING AND
DISINFECTION
3.1 Cleaning Instructions
3.1.1 Overview
Before You Begin
Ensure that the system is fully shut down before beginning cleaning.
No Automatic Disinfection
Do not use automatic cleaning and disinfection procedures for Buzz components.
No Sterilization
Do not sterilize Buzz components.
No Liquids
Do not spray cleaning solvents or other liquids directly into electrical interfaces or openings, (e.g.,
the air vents).
Ensure that liquid does not enter Buzz components, as this could damage the component and/or
the electronics.
Use only a moist cloth for cleaning. Other methods could allow liquids to enter the system and
cause damage.
