PANIC AND ALARM UNIT
YAP/300
Used to send a signal to porter swit-
chboard IPD/300LR to report Alarm
and Panic status.
To be inserted in receivers and wall
supports of the Lynea series which
are suitable for its use (takes up the
space of 3 buttons).
It features the following controls and
indicators (fig. 1):

Red LED for Panic status war-
ning.

Panic button.
Description
of Panic function
The red LED lights to report that
the panic command has been sent
and to confirm that it has been
received.
Panic status is stored in the porter
switchboard (the message Panic
and the user's number come up on
the display).
This LED goes off when the porter
calls the user.
Description of Alarm warning
This function allows the alarm status
signal to be sent to the porter.
The command is handled through
the actual porter switchboard (the
message Alarm and the user's num-
ber come up on the display).
The alarm is sent connecting a
remote control to the AA inputs
(fig.2).
Connection to system 300
installations
Use wiring supplied to make con-
nection to CN1 or CN2 connector
on the printed circuit.
Technical features
for system 300 and X2
• Power supply: from receiver.
• Maximum number of YAP/300
accessories that can be connec-
ted to an X2 system:
- without XDV/300A connected to
the system: 50;
- with XDV/300A connected to the
system: 40;
- with 5 XDV/300A connected to
the system: 15.
NOTE. A VAS/100.20 power sup-
plier must be used to power X2
entry panels.

Limits can be exceeded using
additional power supplier XAS/300.
• Maximum number of YAP/300
accessories that can be connec-
ted to a 300 system:
- without XDV/300A connected to
the system: 50;
- with XDV/300A connected to the
system: 50;
- with 5 XDV/300A connected to
the system: 25.
Installation
To install the unit in the handset, pro-
ceed as illustrated in fig. 3 and 4,
and in the wall mounting as illustra-
ted in fig. 5 and 6.
DISPOSAL
Do not litter the environment with
packing material: make sure it is dis-
posed of according to the regula-
tions in force in the country where
the product is used.
When the equipment reaches the
end of its life cycle, take measures to
ensure it is not discarded in the envi-
ronment.
The equipment must be disposed of
in compliance with the regulations in
force, recycling its component parts
wherever possible.
Components that qualify as recy-
clable waste feature the relevant
symbol and the material’s abbre-via-
tion.
