MMI: 4 way joystick 

 

 

The 4 way joystick can be configured to suit different requirements: 

1.  push= gas 

or 

2.  push= brake 

 

Please contact the producer / distributor in order to get the information in how to modify the 
MMI with the two configurations. 

 

The 4 way joystick and the steering sensor module can also be mounted vice versa (4 way 
joystick at the front, steering sensor module at the rear). In this case the steering sensor 
module can be used as armrest. The gas-/ brake movements have to be inverted 
mechanically; the steering movements can be inverted electronically via Servicemanager.  

The 4 way joystick can be used with very low force feedback, therefore 2 mechanical 
stoppers (M3 screws) need to be placed in the sensor module. These screws can be used to 
narrow or enlarge the maximum rotation angle.
