When transporting the plow, keep the plow wings
retracted to reduce the chance of catching a curb,
snowbank, or other vehicles.
•
Turn off the plow controller when transporting the
plow to and from a job site.
•
When transporting the plow, do not block your
vision with the raised plow.
•
Before it snows, inspect the location you will be
plowing and look for obstacles that will become
hidden once it snows. Look for things such as
bumper stops, speed bumps, curbs, shrubs, water
drains, fire hydrants, fences, and pipes. To prevent
damaging the area being plowed, your plow, or
your vehicle, mark any obstructions in a way that
will be visible after it snows.

Use a crane to hold components as needed.
1.
Install the fifth wheel hitch rails according to the
instructions (sold separately).
2.
Remove the tailgate from the vehicle.
3.
Secure the hitch fingers to the hitch rail
assemblies using 8 bolts (1/2 x 1-3/4 inches)
and 8 nuts (1/2 inch).

Extend the hitch rails for vehicles with long or
