Drive configuration / logbook

You will be shown

static

information on:

software version (firmware version)

module and motor type

current DSS mode (in the ”DSS Master” area)

application

interface type and version

DSS errors

Diagnostics class 1 errors

Start the configuration display with

menu options DIAGNOSTICS

MODULE CONFIGURATION, – or –

MODULE CONFIGURATION in the ”Overview” window.

Do not perform any operations (mouse click, keyboard entry, etc.) before the

module configuration display appears. The DSS will only read the necessary

information from the drive when the module configuration display is called

up.

Example of the configuration display for a drive with an analog interface:

Logbook

In the ”Logbook” area, you may display the last 16 ”DSS errors” and ”Class 1

errors” at any time.
DSS errors:

communication errors between the DSS and the drive.

The error list contains the parameter number that experi-

enced the error during transmission, as well as the corre-

sponding error code.

To display the error in plain text, click on (1) and then press

<F1>.

Class 1 errors: Contents of parameter S-0-0129 (Manufacturer’s Class 1)

and S-0-0011 (Diagnostics class-1) are shown as hexadeci-

mal values. Every high bit is assigned a certain error (cf.

”Servodyn-D parameter description” manual).
