6. Measurement bay requi-

rements

6.1

Ambient conditions

6.1.1

Evenness of measurement bay

The unevenness of the SCT 415 S52 measurement bay
must not exceed 1 mm. The unevenness of the vehicle con-
tact surface is 10 mm.

6.1.2

Test bay conditions

Operate the measurement as specified by the manufacturer.

Avoid direct sunlight at the measurement bay.

Ensure adequate lighting.

The background behind the measurement boards must
not be too bright.

7. Transportation

7.1

SCT 415 S52

Move cross beam to the lowest position.

Place the movable plate at the middle position.

Lock the eccentric clamp.

Set positioning feet to the uppermost position.

Secure the ruler in the raised position.

Move and guide only by means of the column.

Transport the SCT 415 S52.

When moving, make sure that the cross beam does not
strike anything.

The SCT 415 S52 may be moved only by means of
the column, not the cross beam.

Move or carry only by means of the strut profile.

Do not carry by the adjuster or laser mount.
