If the Hand-held Terminal IndraControl VCH 08.1 should fall down,
check the mechanical fitting of the control knob. The control knob
can be clicked in again by pressing the knob in the middle, if appli‐
cable.
6.2 Display
6.2.1 Overview

6.2.2 Contrast Setting
In the configuration software the "LcdContrast" system variable has to be set
in any image for setting the contrast.
Follow the instructions of the configuration software help: "How to
configure the contrast setting for the device".
Enter in in the configuration software the following upper limit values and lower
limit values:

If you don't configure the "LcdContrast" system variable, the basic
setting is used during the device initialization.
As soon as you have set the system variable, the contrast can be set as follows.
Make sure that you are already in the image, in which the system variable is
set.
1. Press the "Data release" key if the data release should not be automati‐
cally activated.
2. Enter the new value for the contrast. Use the keys 0 to 9 or plus and minus.
3. Press the "Apply data" key.
4. Press the "Data release" key.
The contrast changes right after presseing the "Apply data" key.
Repeat steps 2 and 3 if the contrast should not meet your requirements.
6.3 Attributes
The following attributs can be displayed with the operating device:
