Safety Operating Elements

Safety Concept

The Hand-held Terminal IndraControl VCH 08.1 is provided with a 2-circuit, 3-

stage enabling button operated by two actuators integrated on the rear side of

the housing. The enabling button consists of single switching elements and can

be used in safety circuits up to category 3 PLd according to EN ISO 13489-1 ,

if the evaluation is appropriate. For this purpose the two circuits have been

electrically isolated and designed in a redundant manner.
In operation modes with enabling button one of the actuators of the Hand-held

Terminal IndraControl VCH 08.1 has to be consciously held in the central switch
