Explanation: Bosch Rexroth solely delivers the control element, but no
evaluation of the element The customer has to connect the emergency
stop button to his application on his own. Depending on the connection of
the emergency stop to the machine the SIL- or category and PL-value can
be determined.

Enabling button:
Bosch Rexroth specifies category and PL in accordance to EN ISO
13849-1. Derived from this value Bosch Rexroth also specifies a PFH- and
MTTF
d-
value in accordance to EN ISO 13849-1, see also
. SIL (according to EN 62061 or EN 61508)
cannot be specified by Bosch Rexroth.
The enabling button has only been evaluated in accordance to EN ISO
13849-1. A B

value is not available for the enabling button, as this button
consists of the mechanic element and the electronic evaluation. This
means that Bosch Rexroth specifies MTTF

and DC values (and derived
from these values also Category, PL and PFH) for the enabling button as
a whole (starting from the button element up to the clamps within the con‐
nection box).
