3.3.2

Modular system

A single communication unit can control up to 40 tightening channels in up to 16 addressable card rack
fields or system boxes. Connecting the servo amplifier to the tightening spindle or ErgoSpin only requires
a single connection cable in each case, which can safely bridge distances of up to 100 meters.

While a tightening system is in a tightening, tightening channels not involved in the tightening must neither
be activated nor deactivated or reset using the Reset pushbutton. Not involved tightening channels must
only be activated, deactivated, or reset outside of tightenings. Otherwise, an acknowledgeable error is
issued.
