
To display the program in the Program window, the file attribute
"Read" (r) has to be set.
Via the window Stack , the selected NC program can be accessed again.
Selecting the subroutine in the stack:
The stack allows to access subroutines organized in a nesting depth of 7 with
regard to a main program.
The subroutine can be displayed in the current structure if it was stopped by an
error, by "M0" or by an active breakpoint. In such a case, the execution of all
other programs, which have called the subroutine, are interrupted.
The names of all programs active in the call structure are shown in the
"Stack" window. There a program can be selected and displayed with <F5 Go
to call>) in the "Program" window.
In the selected program, it is now possible to monitor local variables and set
new breakpoints if required. The call structure in the stack provides information
on the program nesting used to call the selected program.
Activate the "Stack" window.
Use <F8 Extend start stack> or <F8 Close start stack>) to open/close the nest‐
ing levels caused by the main program and subroutine calls.
Select one of the programs (subroutines) in the "Stack" window and press <F5>
("Go to call").
The last "calling" active program has an arrow in the program block currently
to be processed in which the block processing is pending.
Navigating in subroutines
Navigating in active subroutines is also possible in the "Program" window. It
can be jumped to a subroutine used immediately after the program selection.
Therefore, activate the "Program" window. Use the <cursor> keys or the mouse
to position on an NC block containing a subroutine call. Switch to the next F-
keypad level and press <F6 Open subroutine> to display the subroutine. If there
is no subroutine call in the block, a corresponding message appears. With <F7
Open current program>, it can be navigated back to the active program.
Setting and Editing Breakpoints
Breakpoints can be used in different channels in the NC-Analyzer in DIN and
CPL programs. The breakpoint is a stop point where block processing in Con‐
tinuous block operation stops. At this point, it is possible to check variable
values and change them if required.
The breakpoint appears as circle icon at the NC block in front of which the NC-
Analyzer should stop.
The variable information in the "Values" window refers to all blocks processed
until the breakpoint.
All following blocks, including the block in front of the breakpoint are not yet
included in the program processing.
Breakpoints are used for:

testing explicit locations in the program if the actual error cause is not
known.
●
testing of nested subroutines if the error cause is to be searched there.
