Starting the NC-Analyzer
Starting the NC-Analyzer
The NC-Analyzer is started in the default start screen via the second F-keypad
with <F4>.
The NC-Analyzer can also be configured in the user screens on the F-keys or
M-keys.
The NC-Analyzer works with a configuration file. At first call or by default, a
default setting is used. Then, individual configuration files can be created and
used for the start.
When starting the NC-Analyzer, the waiting dialog "Connecting" appears first
and the NC status is displayed. The 2nd dialog, "Waiting" appears.
If no connection exists, the Operation desktop is closed and the NC-Analyzer
cannot be started. If the connection is lost while the NC-Analyzer is working,
the NC-Analyzer separates and closes.
The waiting dialog "Waiting" appears on the screen only in case of
channel change, searching on the file system of the NC, etc.
Workspace
The "Save Workspace" function saves all relevant setting data of an NC-Ana‐
lyzer session:
●
Name of the active CPL or DIN program
●
Active breakpoints in the main program and the subroutines (only active
breakpoints can be saved)
●
List of the watched variables
Save Workspace
In the topmost F-key level, press <F3 Save Workspace>. The "File" dialog
opens and the configuration path of the user is selected by default. Any required
path and/or file name can be entered.
Active breakpoints and all variables to be watched are stored in the workspace
file.
Load Workspace
If the workspace to be loaded contains variables in the "Watch" window, these
are loaded if:
●
the program selected in the NC corresponds to the program name saved
in the workspace and
●
the variables still exist in the program.
If the workspace contains breakpoints, these are loaded if:
●
the program selected in the NC corresponds to the program name saved
in the work program and
●
the program was not edited in the meantime and if
●
the Analyzer mode is activated.
When the NC-Analyzer is running, it is possible at all times to start an existing
configuration file and transfer their settings if the NC program, to which the
configuration file refers to, is loaded. Otherwise, a messages appears that all
breakpoints stored in the configuration file will not be loaded.
Loss of data!
When a different configuration file is loaded, previous changes in
the NC-Analyzer are lost.
