12.1 Keyboard Shortcuts
The implemented key combinations for individual editing functions are shown
here. They correspond to the Windows standard.
Key / key combination Explanation
<Home> Moves the cursor to the beginning of the line.
<End> Moves the cursor to the end of the line.
<Ctrl>+<C> Copies the selection into the clipboard.
<Ctrl>+<X> Cuts the selection and moves it to the clipboard.
<Del> Deletes the selection or the character.
<Backspace> Deletes the selection or the character to the left of the
cursor.
<Enter> Inserts a line.
Double-click In the editor view, highlights a word at the current cursor
position.
<Ctrl>+<End> Moves the cursor to the end of the file.
<Ctrl>+<Shift>+<End> Extends the selection to the end of the file.
<Ctrl>+<Home> Moves the cursor to the beginning of the file.
<Ctrl>+<Shift>+<Home> Extends the selection to the beginning of the file.
<Ins> Switches between pasting and replacing text.
<Shift>+<Home> Extends the selection to the beginning of the current
line.
<CursorDown> Moves the cursor one line down.
<Shift>+<CursorDown> Extends the selection one line down.
<Shift>+<End> Extends the selection to the end of the current line.
<CursorUp> Moves the cursor one line up.
<Shift>+<CursorUp> Extends the selection by one line upwards.
<PgDn> Moves the cursor one page down.
<Shift>+<PgDn> Extends the selection by one page downwards.
<PgUp> Moves the cursor one page up.
<Shift>+<PgUp> Extends the selection by one page upwards.
<Ctrl>+<V> Pastes the clipboard content at the current position.
<Ctrl>+<A> Highlights the entire document.
<Ctrl>+<CursorDown> Moves the content of the window one line down.
<Ctrl>+<CursorUp> Moves the content of the window one line up.
<Ctrl>+<Del> Deletes one word to the right of the cursor.
<Ctrl>+<Backspace> Deletes one word to the left of the cursor.
<Ctrl>+<CursorLeft> Moves the cursor one word to the left.
