The fan is additionally monitored. If there is no clock at the monitoring output,
a fan error will be detected. The software can read the error from the device.
6.8 Electronic Type Plate
The device is provided with an electronic type plate. In this type plate the device
data is retentively stored. The following data is stored there:

Operating hours counter
● Serial number of the device
● Index of the device
● Parts number of the device
● Type designation code of the device
This data is entered in the electronic type plate during the production process.
The contents of the electronic type plate can be displayed via the Rexroth CE
Settings: Start ▶ Rexroth CE Settings ▶ Systeminfo.
6.9 LEDs on the PC Box
LEDs, PC box of VEP Pentium M
devices
Next to the XS1 voltage supply connector, there are three LEDs on the PC box.
The meaning of the LEDs is listed in the following table.
LED Color Function
H1 Green Supply voltage is OK
H2 Yellow Application-dependent
H3 Red Application-dependent

Next to the voltage supply connector XS1, there is a LED at the PC box. The
meaning of the LEDs is listed in the following table.

6.10 Ready Contact
The ready contact is only available for Pentium M devices.

The ready contact is located on X1S pin 4 and pin 5. The ready contact indicates
that the device is ready for operation and that there is no errror.
