Unintended machine startup due to start or
restart after adding voltages as well as the
missing request of the safety function
WARNING
●
Observe the following notes:
–
The module starts after the successful download of the configura‐
tion and parameter data set as well as after the successful pro‐
cessing of the internal check.
–
A safety-relevant input is automatically set again to "1" if the trigger
of the safety function is reset.
●
If an automatic restart is not intended, make the corresponding settings
in the safety logic.

Errors of the safe digital outputs
Code
Error cause
LED
Description, effect
Acknowledgement, remedy
0x2370 Cross fault between
two outputs
All
OUT
red on
A cross-fault to another output or to an
external voltage was determined. All out‐
puts are thus retained in the safe state.
Read out channel number via the
DiagStateChannelNo object 0x033.
Check actuators, plugs and cabling.
This diagnostic message can be
acknowledged. The acknowledge‐
ment deletes the message and en‐
ables the outputs.
If the error remains pending, the
message is output again.
0x2371 Cross-fault between
external voltage and
one output
0x2344 Short-circuit or over‐
load at the displayed
output
OUT
red on
Short-circuit or overload was detected at
the displayed output. The respective out‐
put is thus retained in the safe state.
Read out channel number via the
DiagStateChannelNo object 0x033.
Check actuators, plugs, cabling and
the free-wheeling circuit at the con‐
tactor.
This diagnostic message can be
acknowledged. The acknowledge‐
ment deletes the message and en‐
ables the outputs.
After a successful acknowledge‐
ment, the safe module additionally
expects a positive edge of the ap‐
plication for the added output. For
the dual-channel parameterization,
this also applies to the other possi‐
bly error-free output.
0x8F08 Light test error at the
displayed output
All
OUT
red on
Due to the test pulses (short-term switch-
on), an error was detected at the dis‐
played output. All outputs are thus re‐
tained in the safe state. A possible cause
can be the short-circuit event in the exter‐
nal wiring during the test.
Read out channel number via the
DiagStateChannelNo object 0x033.
This diagnostic message can be
acknowledged. The acknowledge‐
ment deletes the message and en‐
ables the outputs.
