Maintenance and servicing
After having been charged with gas, Bosch Rexroth hydraulic accumulators are
almost maintenance-free. In order to guarantee a failure-free operation and a long
service life, however, the following tasks are to be carried out:
Inspection of the pre-filling pressure
•
Inspection of safety devices, fittings
•
Inspection of line connections
•
Inspection of accumulator fixation
•
If the accumulator is to be disassembled for maintenance tasks (replacement of
bladder), the accumulator must be depressurized first.

In order to guarantee a safe operation and a long service life of the bladder-type
accumulator, a maintenance schedule is to be drawn up for the unit, the machine
or the system. The maintenance schedule must guarantee that the operating
conditions of the bladder-type accumulator stay in the prescribed limits during the
entire duration of use.
Particularly the compliance with the following operating parameters must be guaranteed:
Operating pressure
•
Operating temperature range
•
Surface temperature
•
External pressure
•
Changes of these parameters increase the wear of the bladder-type accumulator.
For this reason, the cause must be found and eliminated immediately.
In order to guarantee a high operating safety of the bladder-type accumulator
in the machine/system, we recommend continuous automatic controls of the
parameters mentioned above.
Further information on the maintenance is given in the operating manual of the system.
Servicing
9.2
Repairs on the HAB..-4X bladder-type accumulator must only be carried out by
the manufacturer or by authorized dealers and agencies. If this condition is not
complied with, the warranty expires.
Authorized dealers and agencies carry out the repairs at their premises.
