When using a CAN splitter module to split the external BDB into two independent areas,
chose one of the following wiring possibilities:
Wiring with a CAN splitter module and a MAP LSN gateway module
ICP-MAP0012 ICP-MAP0010
Wiring with two CAN splitter modules
ICP-MAP0012 ICP-MAP0012
Cable length
The cable length of the splitted external BDB depends on the number of added keypads and
of the cable diameter.
The maximum cable length is 500 m per BDB connector.

When planning the system with one or more CAN splitter modules, ensure to use an
appropriate cable length and diameter in accordance with the necessary number of
keypads.
