Use four included expansion screws and
four M6 screws to fasten the wall-mount-
ing bracket to the wall (see Fig. 5).

6.2.2
Mounting on Wood
1.
Using the wall-mounting bracket, measure
and mark installation space to ensure
proper and level placement.
2.
Use four included M6 self-tapping screws
to fasten the wall-mounting bracket to the
wall (see Fig. 6).

6.3
Charging Unit
1.
Attach the EV 300 AC power unit to the
wall-mounting bracket by hooking the
top, rear notch to the top tab on the
wall-mounting bracket (see Fig. 7).

6. Installation
The following sections provide the information
needed to begin using the EV 300, including
installing the wall-mounting bracket.
6.1
Requirements
$
Supporting structure must be able to
withstand a 36 kg (79.4 lb) load.
$
Enclosed and well ventilated space.
$
Type B, C, or D 40 Amp breaker installed
in upstream AC distribution box.
$
Disconnect switch for each ungrounded
conductor of AC input, compliant with the
National Electric Code, ANSI/ NFPA 70.
$
1.2 meters (4 feet) vertical clearance
from operating surface.
$
250mm (10 in) clearance on both right
and left sides.
$
Install on same side as vehicle charging
inlet.

Wall-mounting Bracket

6.2.1
Mounting on Concrete
1.
Using the wall-mounting bracket, measure
and mark installation space to ensure
proper and level placement.
2.
Using an 8mm diameter concrete drill
bit, drill holes to match hole spacing on
wall-mounting bracket (see Fig. 4).
