Before turning on the hood

These operating instructions refer to different versions of
the product. As a consequence, you might read a
description concerning some product characteristics which

The coker hood complies with all safety standards.
All the repair works should be done only by qualified and
specilised personnel.
Improper repair may seriously compromise the safety of the
user.

Please read carefully these operating instructions before
using the hood for the first time. They contain operating and
maintenance instructions, as well as very important
information with regards to your personal safety.

Keep the operating and installation manual for
forthcoming users of the appliance.
Remove the packaging according to the rules (see installation
instructions)
This cooker hood is intended for household usage only.
Before carrying out any maintenance or cleaning
operations, disconnect the hood from power supply, by
unplugging it from the mains supply or by switching off the
main switch.
The appliance is not intended for use by
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or
instruction

concerning the use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised and should not have access to
the device.
Do not use the cooker hood if the grid is not
installed properly!
Never use the hood as a supporting surface, unless specified.
In case the cooker hood is used in conjunction with other
appliances fed by gas or any other type of energy, make sure that
there is an adequate supply of air into the room.
When used in the extraction mode, the cooker hood ducting
must not be connected to a flue which is used for exhausting fumes
from appliances supplied with energy other than electricity, such as a
central heating flue or water heating flue.

Avoid using an open flame in any case

it can cause damage to
the grease filters and cause fire risk.
Deep frying should be done under constant
supervision
–
overheated oil can ignite.
The cooker hood open parts can overheat if used together
with other cooking appliances.
Vapor extraction should be done strictly
according to the applicable safety standards and
regulations.
