6.7 Setting the run-on time

You can set a run-on time of between 1 and
99 minutes.

1.

To extend the run-on time, turn the control ring
clockwise

2.

To reduce the run-on time, turn the control ring anti-
clockwise.

6.8 Switching off the fan run-on

Press  ⁠.

The appliance starts at the previously selected fan
setting.

6.9 Sensor control

In automatic mode, a sensor in the appliance detects
the intensity of the cooking and roasting fumes. De-
pending on the setting of the sensor sensitivity, the op-
timum fan setting is automatically switched on. If the
sensor control system reacts too weakly or too
strongly, the setting for the sensor sensitivity may
change.

6.10 Setting the sensor control

Requirement:

 The appliance is switched off.

The setting is displayed after approx. one second.

Use the control ring to select the setting.

Release   to save the setting.

6.11 Switching on the lighting

The lighting can be switched on and off independently
of the ventilation system.

Press  ⁠.

6.12 Setting the brightness

Press and hold   until the required brightness is
reached.

6.13 Setting the intermediate position for
the filter cover

On some appliances, the filter cover can be adjusted to
an intermediate position. The intermediate position can
be used to eliminate particularly strong cooking smells
and large amounts of steam.

Take hold of the filter cover in the centre and open it
carefully.

6.14 Resetting the saturation indicator

After cleaning the grease filter or after changing the
odour filter, the saturation indicator can be reset.

Requirements

After the appliance has been switched off,   ap-
pears in the display for the grease filter.

¡

After the appliance has been switched off,   ap-
pears in the display for the odour filter.

To reset the saturation indicator for the grease filter,
press  ⁠.

2.

To reset the saturation indicator for the odour filter,
press  ⁠.

The saturation indicator is reset.

6.15 Setting the saturation indicator

The saturation indicator must be adjusted depending
on the filter used.

Requirement:

 The appliance is switched off.

Press and hold  ⁠.

To set circulating-air mode (non-regenerable fil-
ter), use the control ring to change the display to

⁠.

To set circulating-air mode (regenerable filter),
use the control ring to change the display to  ⁠.

To set air extraction mode, use the control ring to
change the display to  ⁠.

2.

Release   to save the setting.

6.16 Switching on the audible signal

Requirement:

 The appliance is switched off.

Press and hold   and   at the same time for ap-
prox. three seconds until a signal sounds.

7  Cleaning and servicing

To keep your appliance working efficiently for a long
time, it is important to clean and maintain it carefully.

7.1 Cleaning products

You can obtain suitable cleaning products from after-
sales service or the online shop.

WARNING ‒ Risk of electric shock!

An ingress of moisture can cause an electric shock.

Before cleaning, pull out the mains plug or switch
off the fuse in the fuse box.

Do not use steam- or high-pressure cleaners to
clean the appliance.

WARNING ‒ Risk of burns!

The appliance becomes hot during operation.

Allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning.
