Installation

Risk of burns, electrical short or 
fire

During operation, the device heats up 
considerably.
Do not touch the device in or shortly after 
operation. Wait until the device cooled down 
sufficiently.
The installation and deinstallation of the device 
by a qualified specialist workshop is strongly 
recommended.

Note:

Please also observe the information given in 
the device drawings at the end of this docu-
ment.

Please observe the following installation notes:

The device must be installed in the coach interior.

 

f

The device must be mounted to a plain, stiff surface 
with sufficient stability.

 

f

The mounting location must resist a permanent 
temperature of up to 120° C.

 

f

The mounting location must provide suitable 
conditions and enough free space to allow for a 
sufficient convection ventilation of the device.

 

f

Do not exceed the maximum length of the device‘s 
supply cables. 

 

f

The device‘s supply cable must provide a minimum 
cross sectional area of 2.1 mm

f

Observe the minimum bending radius of the 
device‘s supply cables.

 

f

Ensure that the device‘s supply cables are pro-
tected against sharp edges.

 

f

The device‘s connection cables must be installed 
and fixed in a way that no force is exerted on the 
plugs.

 

f

Only use suitable screws and washers for mounting 
the device.

Switching on/off

The device is automatically switched on or off by the 
Coach Infotainment system of your Vehicle.
