Fast forward/reverse search
The DVD can be played forward and reversed
at increased speed.
To play the DVD fast forward or fast reverse,
f press the / button ? repeatedly
until the desired speed is reached or press
and hold the or button

With every press of the / button ?
the speed is increased in increments up to 64
times.
To return to normal speed,
f press the
PLAY/PAUSE / button

release the or button

.
Notes:
f
The changed speed will not be
indicated on the display.
f
For some DVDs, the speed can
only be increased to 16 times.
Skipping a chapter
A DVD title can be divided into several
chapters.
To jump to the next or another chapter,
f
press the button 3 or button
H
once or several times.
Playback jumps to the beginning of the next or
the corresponding following chapter.
To jump to the beginning of the current or a
previous chapter,
f
press the button 3 or button
H
once or several times.
Playback jumps to the beginning of the current
or the corresponding previous chapter.
Repeated playback of a chapter or
title
A DVD may contain several titles which, in turn,
can be divided into several chapters.
f
Press the MENU G button to open the
menu.
f Press the
MENU
G button repeatedly
until “RPT” appears in the display.
f Turn the volume control

to the left or
right in order to select one of these menu
settings:
f
TITL (repeat title)
f
CH (repeat chapter)
f
OFF (cancel repeat)
f Press the
MENU
G button, repeatedly if
necessary, to close the menu.
Displaying subtitles
To show or hide subtitles and to select the
language of the subtitles,
f
press the SBTL button L repeatedly until
the desired language or no subtitles
(“SBTL OFF”) are displayed.
Note:
The selected language will not be
indicated on the display.

To open the setup menu,

until “LANGUAGE” appears in the display.
