DIRECTIONS FOR USE
It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner
inconsistent with its labeling. For outdoor r

TRAP ASSEMBLY:
1) Remove vanes, ba
g and lure from box.
2) Attach the ba
g to the hooks on the vanes.
3) Peel top from the Dual Lure a
ttractant.
4) Insert the Dual Lure vane slots with
dispensers facing the vanes.
HANGING TRAPS:
1) Hang traps from a metal or wooden stake
3 to 5 feet above the ground at least 8 to 25
feet downwind from plants you are protecting.
2) Be sure that the rod or stake is strong enough
to prevent traps from detaching in wind
y
conditions.
PLACEMENT:
The hanger loop on the vane is used to suspend the tr
ap. T
o be
most effective, the tr
ap should be located about 10 feet
downwind of foliage to inter
cept beetles heading tow
ard it.
Do not place the trap near or in the foliage as it will attr
act more
beetles into the foliage. (Experience has sho
wn that a height of
about 3½ to 4 ft. intercepts lar
ge number of beetles). Tr

better in bright, open ar
eas rather than shade

TRAP MAINTENANCE:

twist tie.

• Replace bags when full or when they begin to emit an offensive odor,

epel Japanese beetles.

educe build up of odors or when holes become blocked during wet
conditions, use a toothpic
k to unplug holes in bag to allow for dr
ainage.
• Replace Dual Lures at end of infestation season; attr
actants last all season.
