OPEN BAGS 2L AND 2L1 AND INSTALL A BUSHING
ADAPTOR INTO EACH CHASSIS SIDE PLATE. BOTH
ADAPTERS MUST BE INSTALLED IN THE SAME WAY WITH
EITHER THE HOLE UP OR DOWN AS SHOWN. FOLLOW THIS
BY PRESSING A REAR AXLE BUSHING INTO EACH ADAPTER.

SLIDE ONE OF THE THIN AXLE WASHERS ON THE
PREASSEMBLED DIFFERENTIAL, THEN SLIDE IT THRU THE
BUSHINGS AS SHOWN. LUBE EACH BUSHING WITH A DROP
OF LIGHT OIL. SLIDE ANOTHER THIN WASHER ON, THEN ADD
THE 1/2” WIDE SPACER, FOLLOWED BY THE NYLON HUB.
INSTALL TWO SETSCREWS IN THE HUB CAREFULLY. MAKE
SURE YOU HAVE A SMALL AMOUNT OF SIDEPLAY IN THE
AXLE. TIGHTEN EACH SETSCREW A LITTLE AT A TIME TO
KEEP FROM WARPING THE HUB.
STEP 8
OPEN BAG 3L1 AND INSTALL THE MOTOR YOU
HAVE CHOSEN INTO THE CHASSIS WITH THE SOCKET HEAD
MOTOR SCREWS AND WASHERS. INSTALL THE PINION GEAR
WITH THE SETSCREW AND ALIGN IT WITH THE AXLE SPUR
GEAR THEN TIGHTEN. SLIDE THE MOTOR BACK UNTIL YOU
HAVE A VERY SMALL AMOUNT OF PLAY IN BETWEEN THE
GEARS. TURN THE GEAR A COUPLE OF TIMES TO RECHECK
THE MESH, THEN TIGHTEN THE MOTOR SCREWS SECURELY.

INSTALL YOUR SERVO UNDER THE BATTERY TRAY
AS SHOWN WITH A PORTION OF THE SERVO TAPE
PROVIDED IN BAG 6L. MOUNT THE SERVO AS FAR TO ONE
SIDE AS YOU CAN TO GET THE SERVO OUTPUT SHAFT AS
CLOSE TO THE CENTER AS POSSIBLE. USE A LARGE TIE
STRAP TO HELP HOLD THE SERVO IN PLACE. OPEN BAG 3L2
AND INSTALL A SHORT AND LONG STEERING LINK ON EACH
SIDE BETWEEN THE SERVO AND STEERING BLOCK. SLIDE A
COLLAR WITH SETSCREW OVER EACH PAIR THEN ALIGN
THE STEERING AND TIGHTEN EACH SET SCREW.
