Language & Formats

General output settings for the control that are always valid when no user is
logged on:

– Language

– Date

– Time

– Units

– Currency unit (from "Service" level)

These values should be set country-specifically; apart from "Currency unit", no
registration is required.

For a logged-in user, the language and unit settings defined in his user profile
apply.

Network settings (2 tiles)

Definition of the address settings for the two network cards in the control (left
"technical network" and right "customer network").

Date and time settings

– Automatic acquisition of time and date via time server, or ...

– Manual setting (then press the "Update time" button)

Adjustable from user level "User".

SMTP settings

To enable the control to send emails to the users' email addresses, the SMTP
server data must be specified. The email address (sender

) is freely selectable and is usually specified by the customer's IT. By

pressing the button "Test SMTP settings" a test message is sent to the recip-
ient after selecting a recipient email address.

Configuration import and export

The configuration files created in the control, i.e. all settings and net configu-
rations, can be backed up externally ("Export configuration file") or files can be
reloaded externally ("Select/Browse" and then "Start import").

The functions can be used both via a PC with a suitable Internet browser and
via USB stick via the switch cabinet.

The functions can be used from user level "User"

Software update

Uploading an update file from the data carrier to the control.

Software updates can only be made with a USB stick via the switch cabinet.

The execution of software updates is possible from user level "Service".
