3.2
Connecting the control
Using external inter-
faces
At the bottom of the operating unit inside the switch cabinet there are connec-
tions that serve as external interfaces with the exception of LAN 1. These con-
nections allow further processing of the data collected by the control, such as
saving the configuration settings of the control using a USB stick or connecting
to the customer network via LAN 2. The following connections are available:

LAN connections (8)
The Ethernet port for connecting the local network should already be occupied
at position 8 with the designation X5:LAN1.
For applications via the customer network (operation of the control by a PC
with a suitable Internet browser Chrome or Firefox) the Ethernet port at posi-
tion 8 with the designation X2:LAN2 is provided. Control and PC can commu-
nicate in a 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet network.
USB connections (3,4)
USB devices are connected with type A connectors. The

features two USB 3.0 ports (position 3) and two USB 2.0 ports (position 4).
USB 3.0 ports have a blue colour. USB 2.0 ports have a black colour.
