use this appliance in or near

other vessels containing water.

To reduce the risk
of burns, electrocution, fire, or injury to
persons:
1. Read all instructions before using
the appliance.
2. To protect against electrical hazards,
do not use while bathing or in the
shower.
3. This appliance is not intended for
use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible
for their safety.
4. Do not operate this appliance if the
appliance malfunctions or has been
dropped or damaged in any manner.
Discontinue use immediately and
contact your dealer for instructions
on returning it for examination or
exchange. No repairs should be
attempted by the consumer.

reflected sunlight can cause fire.
8. Do not use on a soft surface such
as a bed, where openings may be
blocked.
9. Turn switch to «O» position before
storage.

Do not place or store appliance
where it can fall or be pulled into
a tub or sink.
11. Do not place in or drop into water
or other liquids.
12. If an appliance falls into water, do
not reach into the water.
13. When the unit is used in a bathroom,
remove batteries before use since
the proximity of water presents
a hazard even when the unit is
switched off.

INSTRUCTIONS
Inserting the Batteries
• To insert the batteries, first ensure
that the appliance is switched off.
Then remove the mirror from the base
by turning the mirror clockwise, so
that the arrow on the top is pointing
to the ‘O RELEASE’.
• Gently pull the mirror off and away
from the base.
•
Remove the battery compartment
cover from the back of the mirror
by removing the screw. Use a small
Philips head screwdriver to remove
the screw.
•
Align the three AA batteries with
the positive and negative positions
indicated inside the battery
compartment. Carefully insert the
negative end of each battery first so
it will slip easily into place.
• If you are not going to use your mirror
for a long period of time, or if the
battery/batteries are dead, remove
the batteries from the appliance.
Remove used batteries promptly. This
will increase the life of your mirror.
• After inserting the batteries, replace
the battery compartment cover
and the screw, ensuring that the
compartment cover is tightly screwed
into place.
USING YOUR MIRROR
Your mirror is 2-in-1 for total
convenience, so you can use the mirror
on its own for easy access to the hidden
storage compartment, or it can be
secured onto the base and adjusted
depending on the viewing angle
desired.
To use the mirror on its own:
• Remove the mirror from the base by
turning the mirror clockwise, so that
the arrow on the top is pointing to
the ‘O RELEASE’.
• Gently pull the mirror off and away
from the base.
•
Install the batteries as mentioned
above.
• There is a metal stand located on the
base of the mirror – pull this out to
allow to mirror to stand freely.
• Switch the mirror on by pushing the
‘I/O’ switch.
• To reattach the mirror to the base,
secure the metal stand on the base
of the mirror, then simply realign the
arrow with the ‘O RELEASE’ marking
and then turn counter clockwise, so
that the arrow is aligned with the
‘LOCK’ marking.
To use the mirror on the base:
•
Once the batteries have been
installed, simply switch the mirror on
by pushing the ‘I/O’ switch.
• To adjust the viewing height to your
desired angle, ensure the mirror is
standing on a firm, flat surface, then
holding the top of the mirror with
two hands, adjust the mirror head
up and down as desired. You should
hear it click as it moves through the
different angle settings.
Instructions for using Batteries
• Always purchase the correct size and
grade of battery most suitable for the
intended use.
• Replace old batteries of a set at the
same time.
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
Do not mix alkaline, standard
(carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel
cadmium) batteries.
•
Clean the battery compartment by
blowing away any debris and also
those of the device prior to battery
installation.
•
Ensure the batteries are installed
correctly with regard to polarity (+
and -).
•
Remove batteries from equipment
which is not to be used for an
extended period of time.
• Remove batteries promptly.
