"Manual frequency selection":
To select the stations that can be received
in addition to those displayed

To change the selection criterion:

Move the highlighted marker to the second
field from the top.

Choose the selection criterion and press
the controller.

Sampling stations, Scan

The stations on the current waveband are auto-
matically sampled in succession.

Select "FM" or "AM" and press the control-
ler.
"Set" is selected.

Press the controller.
Further menu items are displayed.

Select "Scan" and press the controller.

The stations are sampled.
To stop sampling:

Press the controller.

Select "Scan" and press the controller.

Station sampling is interrupted and the
selected station is retained.

Buttons on CD player

To sample stations, press and hold down
the

button for the corresponding

direction.
To stop Scan, press the button again.

Selecting frequency manually

In "Manual frequency selection" you can select
stations that can be received in addition to
those displayed.

Select "FM" or "AM" and press the control-
ler.

Move the highlighted marker to the second
field from the top.

Select "Manual frequency selection" and
press the controller.

Turn the controller to select a particular fre-
quency.

Updating station with best reception
signal

If on a longer journey you move out of the
reception range of the stations originally
received, you can update the list of stations
received with the strongest signals in the AM
waveband.

Select "AM" and press the controller.

Move the highlighted marker to the second
field from the top.
