144 ON THE RACETRACK
WARNING
When the starter button is
released, the engine acceler-
ates according to the posi-
tion of the throttle grip.
Risk of accident by violent
jerk with throttle grip in full
load position.
Do not open the throttle
grip completely, but instead
only until the limit speed is
reached.
Release the starter button 1 .
The vehicle accelerates with
maximum acceleration.
REMOVING AND INSTALLING
LICENSE-PLATE CARRIER
Removing the license-plate
carrier
ATTENTION
Removing the number plate
carrier
Expiry of operating license for
public roads
Do not ride on public roads
without a number plate car-
rier.
Park the vehicle, making sure
that the ground is firm and
level.
Removing the hump trim
panel ( 200).
Remove the cable tie 1 .
Disconnect the connector for
the license plate light 2 and
left-hand turn signal 3 .
If the license-plate car-
rier is removed for race-
track use, the vehicle electron-
ics will interpret this as a de-
fective light or light source
and the corresponding warn-
ing message will appear in the
display. This warning is sup-
pressed by deactivating the
Light warnings
function in
the
RACETRACK CONFIGURA-
TION
menu.
