Calibrate ASC
Requirement
Reduced stability reserves of the
ASC control after tyre change.
NOTICE
Calibration means that the con-
trol is adapted to the effective
tyre radii of the front and rear
wheel.
The effective tyre radius depends
on the tyre make, tread depth,
tyre pressure and load.
After each tyre change, calibrate
the ASC control to adjust to the
changed tyre radii.
As tyre wear increases, regu-
larly calibrate the ASC control to
maintain an optimum function.
Before calibration, the ig-
nition must be switched off
for at least one minute.
