The preconditions for the oil level
check are as follows:

Engine at operating tempera-
ture.
Engine idling for at least ten
seconds.
Side stand retracted.
Scooter standing upright.

The possible displays on items

and

signify:

OILLVL OK

: oil level is correct.

OILLVL CHECK

: check the oil

level the next time you stop for
fuel.

OILLVL -- -- --

: oil level can-

not be measured (conditions as
stated above not satisfied).

If the oil level is too low,
the corresponding warning

symbol is displayed.

Ambient temperature

The temperature display
flashes as a warning of po-

tential black ice if the ambient
temperature drops to below 3 °C.
Regardless of the display settings
the display automatically switches
over to the temperature display
when the ambient temperature
drops below this threshold for
the first time.
