To maintain the device in good condition and to guarantee its safe and durable operation, the
prescribed maintenance must be performed:
o
Ensure that all wheels are securely attached.
o Visually check all fastenings.
o
Check the cylinder fastenings.
o Check that the backrest, legrest and all fastenings are working correctly.
o Lubricate all the moving mechanisms.
To keep the system operating optimally, repeat this check regularly.
If you have any doubts about the functioning and integrity of the product, take it out of service
and inform your technical service or BMB MEDICAL after-sales service.
In the event of observed anomalies or damage that could jeopardize device operation and
safety, the equipment must be immediately withdrawn.
The device should only be used according to the instructions in this user manual.
The device must not be exposed to, or even less be in contact with, sources of heat, combustion
and flammable agents.
Work on electrical parts should only be performed by qualified and authorized staff.

improper use or alteration of the product by the buyer or user.
4.1.4 EMC-RELATED INFORMATION
VELVET & SWANN care chairs are suitable for use in all healthcare establishments, with the
exception of facilities in the vicinity of HF ELECTROSURGICAL APPLIANCES, or near an
electromagnetically shielded room for an EM magnetic resonance imaging system, in which the
intensity of EM INTERFERENCES is high.
VELVET & SWANN care chairs are suitable for use in domestic homes or establishments or on
any premises connected to the public low-voltage network supplying domestic buildings.
EM interference could cause the product to make unexpected movements.
This appliance should not be used next to, or stacked on other appliances as this could lead
to incorrect operation. If this mode of operation is necessary, this and the other appliances
should be observed to ensure their correct operation.
The use of accessories, transducers or cables other than those specified or supplied by the
manufacturer can lead to an increase in electromagnetic emissions, or a decrease in this
appliance’s immunity, causing inappropriate operation.
Do not use portable RF communication devices (including peripherals such as antenna
cables and external antennas) less than 30 cm (12 inches) from any part of the APPLIANCE,
including the cables specified by the manufacturer. Otherwise, the performance of these
devices could be impaired.
