OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
2.1
BATTERY
The battery housing has its own charger. It is advisable to charge the battery in a cool place for
24 hours using an electrical outlet as soon as it is received and prior to activating it.
For routine use, we strongly recommend keeping the couch plugged into the mains outlet for
sedentary use. Reduced battery autonomy ensures that the couch can be operated in the event
of a power failure or during transfer.
The battery ensures that the couch can be operated in the event of a power failure or enables
the couch to be operated when not connected to an electric power system while being
transferred.
However, once operation of the couch has ended, it is very important to remember to reconnect
it (for a minimum of 12 hours a day). Never allow the battery to go completely flat (risk of
diminished battery performance).
The life of the battery when charged is 25 cycles (powering up + powering down a function).
When the sound signal indicates that the battery level is low, immediately reconnect the couch
to the electrical outlet.
Conditions for connection to the electric power system and electromagnetic compatibility:
-
Connection to the electric power system should be carried out in compliance with
standards NF C 15-100 and NF C 15-211 (230 V electrical outlet). The power system
must be protected by a circuit breaker with a maximum differential current of 30 mA.
-
Operations performed on electrical parts must be carried out by authorized qualified
staff.
-
Electromagnetic interference from the couch may occur. It is therefore advisable to
inhibit the couch functions and keep devices affected by the disturbances away from
the couch.
