OPERATION
Ignite Fire
•
Make sure that the fireplace is placed on a firm, flat, level and heat-
resistant surface away from flammable objects.
•
Place paper or dry firewood in the middle of the fire tray base.
Note:
Do not place fuel directly in the fire bowl but always on the paper or
the firewood.
•
Light the paper or firewood.
Note
: Light a small fire first and then let it slowly grow. If the heat develops
too quickly and too strongly, cracks may occur in the construction.
Stoke the Fire
•
Add more fuel to slowly increase the heat. Do not overload the fireplace
with fuel. Three small logs are sufficient.
• Use the scraping tool when rearranging the logs.
Extinguish Fire
To extinguish the fireplace, do not add fuel or suffocate the fire with sand. Do
not extinguish the fire with water!
Use as a grill
• The grill and the equipment must be clean and free of residues before
grilling.
• Put approx. 0.5 kg of coal on the coal grid and ignite the coal according to
the instructions above.
•
Place the grill on the fire bowl. Make sure that the grille is firmly in place.
• Start grilling when the fuel has an ash layer.
• The food must be completely cooked before consumption.
• Do not remove the grate until the grill has completely cooled down.
• Always clean the grill rack and cutlery after grilling.
