7.6.10.
CID_XCVR_STATUS
The CID_XCVR_STATUS command can be used to determine the current operating state of the
acoustic transceiver modules.
It is particularly useful to use prior to issuing other commands that may start transmissions
(i.e.
,
etc.) to check that the transceiver is currently in the
IDLE state and can perform the operation.

STATUS
Status code used to indicate if the command
executed successfully.

CST_XCVR_STATE_STOPPED
Indicates the transceiver is in a stopped state.
CST_XCVR_STATE_IDLE
Indicates the transceiver is in an idle state waiting
for reception or transmission to start.
CST_XCVR_STATE_TX
Indicates the transceiver is in a transmitting states.
CST_XCVR_STATE_REQ
Indicates the transceiver is in a requesting state,
having transmitted a message and is waiting for a
response to be received.
CST_XCVR_STATE_RX
Indicates the transceiver is in a receiving state.
CST_XCVR_STATE_RESP
Indicates the transceiver is in a responding state,
where a message is being composed and the
“response time” period is being observed.
