The BlueBox™ DA-3G-1x6 Reclocking Distribution Amplifier (hereinafter “BlueBox™
DA-3G-1x6”) provides a small “throwdown” package that offers a 1X6 DA with automatic
detect and reclock at 2.970, 1.485, 1.483, 0.540, 0.360, 0.270, 0.177, and 0.143 Gb/s. The
outputs can be set to mute if no recognized input is detected. The DA-3G-1x6 can be powered
from 5-18 VDC using an AC adapter (supplied).
The DA-3G-1x6 can be operated in automatic standard detect mode or in a manual standard
mode. Reclocking can be bypassed if desired. Non-inverting ASI reclock is available on 3 of
the 6 output ports.
LED Indicator
The front panel LED indicates video lock. When a 3G or HD rate signal is locked it will light
green, when an SD rate signal is locked it will light orange. If no signal is locked it will flash
continuously.

Connect BlueBox™ DA-3G-1x6 DC power using the supplied AC adapter.

Connect SDI or ASI input. Note the specific output ports that can be used for SDI and/or
ASI (as shown on the previous page). This provides the basic connections. Other
connections do not require termination if unused.
Switch Settings
The 4-position switch allows bypassing of the BlueBox™ DA-3G-1x6 reclocker, or forces a
reclocking rate as shown below.
