To unfold recliner, you may need to release the locking system. If you purchased a recliner with a canopy, the canopy should be snapped
to the frame, on the back of the recliner. NOTE: Some models may not have a canopy and/or drink tray. Recliner pictured may differ from
the model you purchased. The illustrations below are for reference only and your recliner may appear different than illustrated.

To release the locking
system, lift lever on both
sides of the recliner

Before closing recliner, make
sure the locks are unlocked.
Remove the drink tray before folding your
recliner. If the recliner is folded without
doing so, the drink tray will break. Unlock
the two locking mechanisms that are
under the armrests before folding your
recliner. If recliner is folded with out doing
so, the locking mechanism will wear.
ATTENTION
Make sure your recliner is completely
unfolded before sitting in. Please be
careful reclining while sitting in it. Body
shape and weight will affect the way this
recliner operates. Be careful and
proceed with caution. To reduce the risk
of injury, DO NOT play on, stand, or jump
on the recliner. The recliner is intended
for sitting and reclining only.
HOW TO ADJUST LOCK
TENSION, IF NEEDED:
LOCK TOOL CONSISTS OF 2 PARTS:
[1] Hexagon Tube
[1] Flat-Head Rod
UNLOCKED
LOCKED
TIGHTEN
LOOSEN
Insert the flat-head rod into the side hole of the hexagon
tube. Hold it by the flat-head rod in order to tighten or
loosen the recliner lock nut to the desired tension. Turn to
right to tighten, left to loosen. The locks must not be loose
in order for the recliner/chair to lock properly.
Once the desired tension of the lock nut is reached, pop
the plastic caps back in to cover the nuts. To lock the
recliner, move the lever down. To unlock the recliner/chair,
move the lever up.
PLEASE NOTE:
Lock lever should point away from you in the
unlocked position before use.
Remove the plastic caps covering each nut of the
recliner/chair lock using the flat-head rod.
