Before you have to turn, you hear 
a voice-prompted turn-by-turn 
direction and the following is 
displayed:

Driving direction arrow

(shows the direction in which you 
must turn shortly)

Name of the street to which 
you must turn

Symbolic display of the dis-
tance to the turning point

Display of the distance to the 
turning point in kilometres

Shortly before you have to turn, the 
junction zoom may be displayed, 
provided that you switched on the 
display in the menu (see p. 25):

In addition, the device provides 
support with voice-prompted turn-
by-turn directions and announces 
turns in due time. In the process, it 
also announces the names of major 
roads and motorways.

To repeat the last voice-prompted 
turn-by-turn direction:

If the  wind rose is displayed

The wind rose generally points 
north. In the following cases, the 
wind rose displays instead the 
straight line to the destination dur-
ing a destination guidance, and no 
additional turn-by-turn directions 
follow: 

The vehicle is not located on a 
"digitised street".

You left the stored corridor.

You left the area stored on the 
navigation CD.

In these cases, follow the wind 
rose symbol or reinsert the navi-
gation CD.
