LUBRICATE THE WHEELS, PIVOT POINTS AND LINKAGES AFTER 25 HOURS
OF USE
REPLACE THE CUTTING BLADE AFTER 50 HOURS OF USE
GENERAL MAINTENANCE
1. Remove all grass debris from the top and underside of the mower deck,
as well as from around the ventilation holes, immediately after use - note:
wear strong gloves when working with or around the cutting blade.
2. Motor unit - this motor unit is maintenance free and should not be
accessed by anyone other than an approved maintenance engineer.
3. Switch control & safety button - is maintenance free and should not be
accessed by anyone other than a approved maintenance engineer.
CUTTING BLADE
1. The cutting blade has sharp edges, always wear strong gloves to protect
your hands when working with or around the cutting blade.
2. Always work away from the cutting edges of the blade to avoid the risk
of injury.
3. Care should be taken when turning or lifting the mower unit.
4. It is recommended that the cutting blade is replaced every two years or
after 50 hours operation, which ever occure the sooner.
5. Damaged or worn blades should by replaced immediately.
BLADE REPLACEMENT (Fig. 7)
MAINTENANCE
WARNING: Unbalanced blades will cause the lawnmower to
vibrate-risk of accident!
1. Disconnect the mower from power supply before removing or refitting
the blade.
2. Turn the mower unit on to its side.
3. Firmly grip the end of the cutting blade - with a gloved hand.
4. Remove the fixing bolt, with the spanner provided.
5. Carefully remove the cutting blade.
6. Ensure that the ‘New’ cutting blade is the correct way up, with the
turned edges facing towards the motor.
7. Locate the ‘New’ blade into position on the carrier pins. The blade with
texts should face outward.
8. Secure the fixing bolt and tighten.
9.Return the mower unit to an upright position.
POWER SUPPLY CABLE
Before use, the power supply cable should be inspected for signs of
damage or ageing.
DO NOT USE ANY POWER TOOLS IF THE CABLE IS DAMAGED OR WORN.
NOTE: All electrical inspections and repairs should be conducted
by a qualified electrician.
STORAGE FOR LONGER PERIODS
NOTE: To ensure your mower is maintained in good working
order, if the storage period exceeds one month it is important
that the following is adopted:
1. Clean all areas of the mower, ensure that the grass collection box is
empty and clean.
2. Lubricate the wheels, pivot points and linkages.
