Installation and Getting Started Guide

frequently used phrases or messages with a few keystrokes, correct commonly
misspelled words, replace abbreviations and acronyms with complete words, and
insert punctuation marks and symbols in your message without using

ALT

or the

symbols library.

How AutoText works

The following procedure illustrates how AutoText works.

1.

On the Home screen, click the

Compose

icon. The To: screen appears.

2.

While composing your message, type the text

AutoText entry that tells the handheld to automatically replace the text with
the correctly spelled word
