Installation and Getting Started Guide
1. On the password security screen, roll the trackwheel. The Device is locked
dialog box appears.
2. Click Unlock . The Enter password dialog box appears. Type your password
and click the trackwheel.
To change your password
Occasionally changing your password will provide greater security.
1. On the Home screen, click the Options icon. The Device Options screen
appears.
2. Click Security . A dialog box appears, prompting you to type your password.
After you have typed your password, click the trackwheel to open the Security
screen.
3. Click the trackwheel to view the menu. Click Change Password . A dialog box
appears.
Note When the handheld is locked, you can make an emergency call. On the
password security screen, roll the trackwheel. The Device is locked dialog
box appears. Click Emergency Call. Type the number for the emergency
call. You can only type recognized emergency numbers when the handheld
is locked.
The password security screen displays your contact information (if you have
typed your contact information on the Owner screen) or it will prompt you to
Press any key. To quickly unlock your handheld, type the first letter of your
password to open the Enter Password dialog box. Type the remaining letters
of your password and click the trackwheel to resume using your handheld.
