PORT MANAGER SWITCHES

Figure A-1 below shows the pin numbering for the Port Manager Switch’s RS-232 ports
(RJ-11 connectors). Figure A-2 below shows the pinout (interface schematic) for ports
1 and 2; Figure A-3 below shows the pinout for ports numbered 3 and higher. Figure
A-4 on the next page shows possible connections using modular adapters built from
kits (our product codes are shown). Figures A-5 and A-6 on pages 58 and 59 show the
pinouts of the adapters included with the PM Switch Tables A-1 through A-4 on the
following pages show the end-to-end pinning you will need to keep in mind when
assembling modular adapters for your application.
