To install the DSL Surge Protector, connect the DSL
Surge Protector’s
equipment side
to your external DSL
modem (see the above illustration). Connect the
line
side
, using the RJ-11 cable provided, to the RJ-11 or RJ-45
DSL jack from the wall plate. Ground the surge
protector by connecting the ground wire to a ground
screw on the wall plate of an AC grounded outlet.
