5. Maintenance

1. Clean the fiber connector and the connecting flange on a regular basis.

2. Use standard fiber connectors when testing.

3.  When the unit is not in use, place the dust cap on the connector to prevent it 

from being scratched or becoming dirty.

4.  Make sure that the operating voltage of the AC adapter/charger is the same as 

the local AC line voltage.

5.  To eliminate the possibility of acid leakage, remove the batteries if the unit will 

not be used for a long time.
