ETEP CLI User Guide

Syntax
user-delete {<username>}
Usage Guidelines
The
user-delete
command removes a user from the ETEP. The command takes effect immediately,
preventing the deleted user from logging in to the ETEP.
Example
In this example, the Administrator deletes the user “tech1.”

user-enable
Description
The
user-enable
command enables and disables a user account.

Syntax
user-enable {<name>} {true | false}
Attributes
name –
Specifies the user name
.
true –
Enables the account for the specified user
.
false –
Disabled the account for the specified user.
Usage Guidelines
This command can be used to enable an account that has been disabled due to a login failure, password
expiration, or manual lock-out. The Administrator can also use the user-enable command to manually
disable a user’s account.
Example
The following example enables the account of a user named “tech1.”
