Component/Composite-to-HDMI Scaler and Converter with Audio (AVSC-VIDEO-HDMI)
To ensure the best functionality when using this product, we recommend upgrading to the latest firmware version.
Please see the following procedure to upgrade your unit:
1. On a PC, browse to www.blackbox.com/avsc-video-hdmi
2. Click on the “Support” tab underneath the product description.
3. Click the link for the firmware to download the latest version of firmware and the firmware uploader utility.
4. Extract the .zip file.
5. Connect the device to the PC via a USB to mini-USB cable.
6. Run the BLACK BOX_Scaler Software.exe application.
7. Click on the COM Port Detect button to detect the COM PORT.
8. Press the “Refresh” button to detect the device.
9. Press the “System” button and another window will appear.
10. Press the “FW Update” button.
