by unqualified personnel could result in serious injury.
• Do not remove or deface warning labels. Removing labels increases the risk of exposure

Installing the Batteries
Ensure laser on/off switch is in the “OFF” position. Remove the adjustable foot from the left
side of the laser by pulling straight out. Unscrew the battery cover as shown in figure 2 and
insert 2 ”AA” alkaline batteries with the positive (+) side facing out toward the battery cover.
Replace the battery cover and left adjustable foot.
WARNING: Batteries can explode, or leak, and can cause injury or fire.
To reduce this
risk:
• Carefully follow all instructions and warnings on the battery label and package.
• Always insert batteries correctly with regard to polarity (+ and -), marked on
the battery and the equipment.
• Do not short battery terminals.
• Do not charge batteries.
• Do not mix old and new batteries. replace all of them at the same time with
new batteries of the same brand and type.
• Remove dead batteries immediately and dispose of per local codes.
• Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
• Keep batteries out of reach of children.
• Remove batteries if the device will not be used for several months.

Operating Instructions

On/Off Switch
Check to make sure that the laser beam is pointing away from you and press the ON/OFF
switch shown in
figure 3
to turn the laser ON. Press the switch a second time to turn the laser
OFF.
Use With Crosshair Line Lens
The beam splitter is designed with a high precision 90
˚
prism for generating crosshair beams.
• Attach the magnetic beam splitter to the laser as shown in
figure 4
.
• Check to make sure that the laser beam is pointing away from you and press the ON/OFF
switch to activate the laser function.
