Do not soak or immerse the monitor in any liquid.

Use the cleaning solution sparingly. Excessive solution can flow into the monitor and cause
damage to internal components.
⚫
Do not touch, press, or rub the display panels with abrasive cleaning compounds,
instruments, brushes, rough surface materials, or bring them into contact with anything that
could scratch the panel.
⚫
Do not use petroleum-based or acetone solutions, or other harsh solvents, to clean the
oximeter. These substances attack the device’s materials and device failure can result.
If the accuracy of any measurement does not seem reasonable, first check the animal’s vital signs
by alternate means and the pulse oximeter for proper functioning.
Inaccurate measurements may be caused by:
Incorrect sensor application or use
Significant levels of dysfunctional hemoglobins. (e.g., carboxyhemoglobin or methemoglgbin)
Intravascular dyes such as indocyanine green or methylene blue.
