Description

Other DynDNS providers can be configured in the Local Ser-
vices -> DynDNS Client-> DynDNS Providers menu.

The default value is

DynDNS

.

Enable update

Select whether the DynDNS entry configured here is to be activ-
ated.

The function is activated by choosing

Enabled

.

The function is disabled by default.

The Advanced Settingsmenu consists of the following fields:

Fields in the Advanced Settings menu

Field

Description

Mail Exchanger (MX)

Enter the full host name of a mail server to which e-mails are to
be forwarded if the host currently configured is not to receive
mail.

Ask your provider about this forwarding service and make sure
e-mails can be received from the host entered as MX.

Wildcard

Select whether the forwarding of all subdomains of the Host
Name are to be enabled for the current IP address of the Inter-
face (advanced name resolution).

The function is activated by choosing

Enabled

.

The function is disabled by default.
